Wetumpka, AL asked in Family Law and Child Custody for Alabama

Q: I have a 1 year old daughter and my child's Father won't give her back to me. Is it necessary for me to get a lawyer?

I reside in Wetumpka, AL I'm currently employed. He has been using my child as a way to hurt me. I've tried so many times to reason with him and be civil with him. He's been harassing me and has recently hacked my Google account and downloaded intimate personal videos and pictures of me. He keeps threatening to expose me at work and present it to the court. By law could he use those videos? He also said that he put a restraining order out on me to stay away from my baby. He said I would get served papers but I haven't yet. I called my local family court and the clerks both in Elmore & Montgomery county didn't have anything on file for a petition for custody. He keeps telling me that I can only see her not get her back. He's also recently came into my home and took all of the furniture and bedroom furniture as well. He's been being so evil and low down to me until it's causing me to have a mental breakdown.

A: Take him to court. File a petition with the COurt. You need a lawyer to do this. As far as the pictures are concerned, if you post pictures of yourself naked etc. on the internet, you have no expectation of privacy, and you can't do much about that. Get him into Court.
