Q: I’m a legal adult, my mother is saying just because I’m in her house she gets to stalk me. Is it true?
Stalking as in control, threaten, punish, neglect, harass, embarrass, give a hard time, talk to me when I don’t want her to, give emotional distress, difficulty sleeping and concentrating, make me feel nervous, in danger, helpless, anxious, fearful, angry, depressed, afraid, frustrated she won’t leave me alone, and clueless of what might happen next.
A: Well not exactly, she can't stalk you, but you are in her house and as they say if you don't like the rules you can always leave and that is the way most courts feel, thus your best option is to leave. What she definitely can't do is to hit you except in self defense.

A: If you're an adult and you live in your mother's house then you forfeit some privacy rights I would think because if you don't like it you always have the option to move out since you're a legal adult. Sounds like this relationship is not headed in the right direction so you need to move out to a friend's house or something until you can find your own place to live.
