Gillett, PA asked in Divorce for Ohio

Q: How do I file contempt of a court order?

Me and my wife are getting a divorce. They had me put a restraining order in place to protect our property from being sold and everything until divided by the court and says so right in the order. She has and is selling property of ours. I called the sheriffs and they said to call the court. I called the court and they said I had to file paperwork but couldn't tell me what paperwork it was I needed to file. So what do I need to do?

A: You'll need to file a motion asking the court to hold her in contempt for violating the restraining order. The court cannot give you legal advice on what to file. Talk to your attorney or use the Find a Lawyer tab to retain one to help you.
