A: You having to pay child support for the baby, is the least of your worries! The age of the pregnant teenage girl is undisclosed and your son, could end up facing a variety of criminal charges as well. You may have to retain an experienced criminal defense attorney for your son. You are also going to be dealing with massive medical bills for the birth of the child and all sorts of pre-birth care. The girls parents could file a variety of criminal charges against your son and his life could be destroyed. You also need to have an in person consultation with an experienced matrimonial attorney, who MAY be able to negotiate with the parents of the girl or their attorney to try and preclude them from filing criminal charges. Do not let geographic restrictions get in the way of retaining the best attorney. Pick the best attorney you can find and remember one rule: a good attorney is generally never cheap, and a cheap attorney is generally never good so don't choose based on price.
