Q: Can we keep a dog that keeps wandering away from its home and coming back to our house?
This dog’s home in the neighborhood behind ours and he has no identification tags. We found out where he lives through social media and we were told that the owners allow him to wander. They have no fence on their yard. We have returned this dog to his home at least 5 times within 2 weeks time and have asked that they put a tag on him but they have done nothing. He is an aging dog and we live near a busy highway and fear he will get run over if we keep returning him to his owners.
