A: ALabama DHR can pick up your children if they can convince a judge that the children are the subjects of abuse or neglect. If they pick the children up, then you have to appear in court within 72 hours to show why that was justified or not. This depends on the fact, and obviously, children in a hotel is not -- standing alone - a reason. THere are other facts here, I am sure.
