A: That's a difficult question to answer without having more information about the accident and without being able to read the accident report from the police department that investigated the accident. I will be in the office after 2:30 Pm today if you would like to discuss the situation.

A: Was the other driver a;so the owner of the vehicle that struck you? Does the other driver own attachable assets? I suggest that you contact an Iowa attorney who handles personal injury claims as soon as possible to discuss your options.

A: If you haven't already contact a member of the Iowa Assn for Justice--they give free consults. If one can't help, try another. There may be a limit to what you can do in this situation. Apply for medical assistance if you weren't on it or the hospital didn't already have you do it. It's usually retroactive, but don't waste time. The social worker at the hospital can help you.
