Q: Im buying a house on a lease agreement. In the agreement it states there may be lead paint in my house
But I was not given the pamphlet from the epa on protecting my family from lead paint. I have contacted the owners of my house about resolving this problem and they have either side stepped my texts or phone calls and have yet to contact the health department to discuss options with them or me. What can I do legally in order to keep my house and get the lead abatement done?

Sellers must give you the opportunity to inspect for lead. If lead removal is recommended, you and seller must negotiate who will pay for that.
