Q: Do I ignore my training and walk away?

I am a resident and volunter firefighter in the state of New Jersey. I have completed my State Mandated Firefighter One course and have been riding the trucks for almost 4 years satisfying my mandatory courses to be a riding firefighter in good standing. I have always been one to act, but want to get a lawyers help on what I am allowed and not allowed to do when I am on my own and not riding the big trucks. I currently reside on a campus belonging to a Private University, serviced by a Campus Department of Public Safety. An incident arose recently where fire alarms were activated due to smoke coming from (an) appliance(s). Being I was already in the building, I was the first person on scene and observed a light/moderate smoke condition coming from a cluster of appliances. Following training experience, I grabbed the nearest ABC fire extinguisher (appropriate tool for appliances), pulled the pin, and started to secure utilities by unplugging all appliances (extinguishing agent was not

A: Your post is unusual and to the reader especially one trained in criminal defense it reads as if you created the danger yourself in order to relive the exercise maybe? And that you simply miss the action and are concerned that you are in trouble now. Otherwise why would this be posted in the criminal law section? In any event if this is around the mark then you should stop making public admissions like this and just ask a straight forward question without any background information.
