Houston, TX asked in Traffic Tickets for Texas

Q: Found guilty of traffic stop but I wasn’t in that city the day of the stop.

Was found guilty on speeding ticket but I was no where near the city the day of the stop the police officer didn’t get any identification from the driver stating they were me he just went off the person word of mouth . Went to court only the police and and his counsel got to review the video of the traffic stop. Ask judge if we can all watch the video he said we can’t because it want requested into evidence. The clerk told me they could compare my signature to the one on the ticket but it was never done. The police officer counsel found me guilty not the judge. I was order to pay ticket but I’m innocent so why would I pay. Now I’m requested to go back to court . For not paying is there anyway I can do a jury trial or someway to fight this ticket and get the video shown to the jury to prove my innocence

A: The judgment of guilty must be set aside first. Contact an attorney in the county where the matter is pending. Good luck.
