Toms River, NJ asked in Traffic Tickets for New Jersey

Q: I have multiple driving on suspended charges, I was approved by 2 towns for weekend jail day reporting but I missed.

The 2 weekends I missed were valid bc I was in the hospital with sepsis the 1 judge re-approved me to start the program again & when I showed up the date I was supposed to the CO on that day said I was supposed to be there the day before even tho I had papers from the court stating I was supposed to start the day I showed up the CO told me to call the court on Monday and see what went wrong. There was a mishap with the paperwork on either the jails end or the court The court then told me to show up the following Sunday A friend of mine had messaged me on the Saturday before asking me why I didnt show up So the same thing happened once again and this time the judge issued me a warrant and said I was non-compliant I'm now no longer able to be approved for the program & I will have to do straight time. The jail says 2 or more misses makes you no longer eligible, but the first 2 times were valid & the 3rd was a paperwork mistake. Do I have any options? Or am I just stuck having to do time?

A: You will have to do straight time. Too many excuses and explanations for a court to accept.
