Q: girlfriend's father bought her a house. We lived in it for about 5 years. He evicted her. Am I required to leave also?

A: Not enough information to know. What sort of notice did he give to evict her? Are you named in the notice as well? Is your name on a rental agreement? Or perhaps neither you nor she paid rent at all - in which case he did not evict her but possibly could have ejected her (same end goal as eviction but much different legal way to get there and it takes longer and costs the owner more than eviction usually). If there was no court action, then technically she voluntarily left albeit at her father's request. All these things and more can impact the legal situation you are in and what your rights may be.
