Bronxville, NY asked in Civil Rights and Employment Discrimination for New York

Q: Hello, I’m looking to file a lawsuit against the FDNY for the ongoing discrimination, assaults and mistreatment

I’m looking to file a lawsuit against the FDNY for the ongoing discrimination, assaults and mistreatment against people of color. The FDNY has been able to continue this behavior for over 150 years with little resistant. Due to the previous lawsuits that lasted several years I have had one time to apply for the job and have know aged out, i feel i shouldn't be penalized because the FDNY hatred towards people of color. The FDNY has ramped-up their efforts after losing the lawsuit to do more to diversify the department and blacks are under attack. I’m trying to see if I have grounds to pursue a suit, any help would be greatly appreciative.
