Q: Are W.C. entitled to pay me for lost wages while I am out of work. I have approved fmla an sent to specialist. My

physician has sent me to a specialist. the Specialist advise they do not give work excuse and to go to my primary dr.again, i have proper notation from my dr. of excuse from work. W.C. claim rep says they need it from specialist. i feel they are trying to not pay as it relates to my time out of work. specialist says they dont give excuse from work and to get it from my regular doctor. w.c says they need it from specialist since i am under their care. can you assist me in this situation. i don't feel that i need a lawyer for this case but need some guidance and instructions. what to do do and also can i get paid for all of my expenses as it relates to going to receive medical attention. miles, gas, and etc...
