A: If your rent is due by 11:59 PM on the 31st, and you don’t pay, they give you three days notice at 12:00AM on the 1st unless the leases specifies a grace period. They don’t have to wait until your more than a month overdue. The $250 late fee is pretty high but may be considered reasonable depending on the amount of the rent and how late it is.
