Q: Is it against my civil rights to be denied legal council concerning a minor, not to mention be placed under arrest just
To talk to her.
A:
In a criminal case, you have the constitutional right to be represented by an attorney, and, if you cannot afford an attorney, the state must pay for an attorney for you.
However, in a civil case, you do not have the constitutional right to be represented by an attorney.
If this is a deprived case, then Oklahoma state statutes (but not the Constitution) guarantee your right to be represented by an attorney, and, if you cannot afford an attorney, the state must pay for an attorney for you.
However, if this is not a criminal case, and if this is not a deprived case, then you do not have the right to an attorney.
Since I don't know what kind of case you are going through, I don't know whether any of your rights have been violated.
As to your other question: "to be placed under arrest just to talk to her?"
If there was a court order that prohibited you from talking to the minor, then, you can be arrested for contempt of court.
