Q: Can my landlord evict me due to my dog.
I live in a mobile home that I rent. My landlord recently gave me a 14 day eviction notice as my neighbor called him and stated that my big dog attacked her & her small dog however she nor her dog have any marks nor any proof what so ever. Didn't even tell me this happened. So now he says I have 14 days to go. Can he do this? Can I do anything to stop this from happening?
A: Depends on whether your lease allows you to have animals at all. If it doesn’t, he can evict you. If it does, then you have to get to the terms under which you can have him and whether they can prove any attack occurred.
