Q: I received a 4-03a1 moving violation in NYC with an NJ drivers license. Officer said with nj license there is no points
The normal amount of points in NYC for this violation is 3. Is it true there are no points for this ticket with an NJ license? I just find what the officer told me about no points hard to believe.
A: Any out of state moving violation transfers to NJ as 2 points on your NJ license. I suggest hiring a lawyer if getting no points is important to you.
