Houston, TX asked in Child Custody for Texas

Q: How to defend against parent alienation and stop my child from being prescribed ADHD meds.

I'm the NCP of 10 yr old boy. I'm in the dark regarding doctor visits, ADHD drugs. Mother uses her last name for him with doctors. She tells my son lies about child support payments and conspires with him to steal visitation days during long weekends by bribing him with "fun" activities and get his hopes up. Consistently instructs him to withhold information regarding his medications. Tells him she hates me. He does let me know of this and confides in me that she "tells lies" about me. Also, there is a culture of medication in the household. Mother, aunt, and, I believe grandfather, the three adults of the house, all take Adderall. Now, my son has also been prescribed even though he does not have ADHD. He is also given sleeping pills. Also, mother had another child 1.5 yrs ago, father is not present. Aunt has a 3 yr old, same situation. My son has pet allergies, house has 2 dogs and a cat. My son is given allergy medicine rather than remove pets. I believe I would be a better CP.
