Columbus, OH asked in Civil Litigation for Ohio

Q: Long story short, neighbor threatened my cat because they think someone else's (who let's their cat roam outside)

In my housing community there has been a cat we thought was a stray but later learned it wasn't that the owners let him roam outside. Well the other day I came home from work and found cat feces on my back porch with a note and today the neighbor has been walking around my back porch and my property. I've explained that this cat is not mine and I do have cats (2) but they are strictly indoor. The neighbor is still convinced it is my cat and essentially threatened my cats stating if they're caught outside they'll be taken care of. I am concerned because they continuous will come into my back porch and case my house, it makes me uneasy. If they know the other cat is indoor they should find the cat's owner instead of lurking in my backyard. What can I do for options?

A: Tell them not to trespass on your property, and if they come back, call the police.
