Houston, TX asked in Traffic Tickets for Texas

Q: I renewed my drivers license and was sent a letter for denial saying I have to go to texasfailuretoappear.com.

Says its from 2012 and I have a warrant. I have been pulled over since then and there was no problems. I don't know anything about this ticket and I keep asking to see an actual copy of it. Also when you click on ticket payment system it says offense date 9/19/2012 and court date 1/1/0001. I really think they have a mistake in their system and I don't owe this. I've always taken care of my situations.

A: Contact an attorney in the county where the citation was allegedly issued and have her/him check the court records (not the records of the collection agency that is attempting to get your money). Good luck.
