Phoenix, AZ asked in Bankruptcy for Arizona

Q: filed chapter 7 8 mo ago didn''t qualify. filing again now and do qualify. what problems will i face

i walked away and the case was dismissed the first time. just after the dismissal i lost my job. after a month and a half, got a new job for much less money. I am filing again with the same lawyer (made payments until 100% paid), two hours before our signing meeting, her assistant called to say i need to pay the balance in cash today. no payments because courts don't like it when you file bankruptcy twice so soon. Why do i have a red flag? I asked if i was under the means and she said yes but i may not be next month. This doesn't make sense to me since i paid the full amount last time even though i did not go through with it. Why do i have a red flag?

A: No, you have a choice: Either stay with the one who brought you to the dance floor or go try to find another lawyer--who may not be as helpful as the first one.

A: You need to ask the attorney to answer your questions. You paid their fees so have a right to understand what you are asked to do. Ethically the paralegal cannot give you legal advice, only the lawyer.
