Q: I have a signed paper stating that I am the legal owner of a van, the title isn't in yet. Will the police accept this?
I purchased a van and it went into my boyfriends name because we used his auction account to purchase the van. The title is going to my post office box and I have a signed paper with a copy of his ID stating that I am the legal owner of the van. He took off with my key and refuses to give it to me. I just spent 200$ getting a new key made and I have a receipt for that as well. All of my belongings are in my van. We are currently in southern Oregon but live in northern Washington. There it also a 5 yr protection order out protecting me from him
