Gautier, MS asked in Criminal Law for Mississippi

Q: shoplifting from target in Mississippi

I was in target and took a $9.99 bracelet off of it's label because I thought it was a necklace and wanted to try it on. when I realized it was a bracelet I dropped the packaging and threw the bracelet in my bag because I was scared to leave evidence. as I was leaving an undercover employee approached me with the packaging I dropped and I was taken to the back. I gave the bracelet back, but they took my picture and also a picture of my I.D. they acted really laid back, and no police were called. they then told me I would be mailed a letter from corporate offices.

A: Your post is unclear, as there is no question? Were you ever actually charged with shoplifting?
