New York, NY asked in Traffic Tickets for New Jersey

Q: would it be proper protocol for an police officer to inform you of additional traffic tickets will be mailed to you?

A: No the police are not required to tell you they are going to send you more tickets, they can just do it. I would suggest hiring a lawyer this doesn't sound good.

A: no they're not required to inform you so long as it's mailed within 30 days it's legal otherwise you have a defense.
