Q: Good Morning, What type of required licenses are required for starting an online business that may come under gambling?
I am orginally from the UK and had this business idea for over two years now I see alot of people online doing this method illegally (well in the UK you need a license to do this). I want to start a business to host these methods legally the business may come under gambling as it would be a hosting platform but people/ businesses would pay us listing fees as the main source of income. I would really appreciate any help in this area.

Free practical advice offered for the last 41 years to people starting or operating small businesses: Look out.
The main difference between successful small businesses and those that fail within a relatively short period of time is good legal advice. The owners of most successful small businesses understand that retaining a competent experienced business lawyer and paying modest legal fees to advise them--from day one—may end up saving them thousands of dollars later when they must fix unnecessary disasters that could have been avoided. Hiring a good business lawyer and then calling upon them to help you avoid the many minefields beats asking for free business advice on Justia. Try it and see.
