Q: Can I get someone for slandering my name

I got family saying things that is not true about unborn child.

A: If someone is slandering you, it's possible you could have a legal cause of action. I do not practice in Kentucky, but your question remains open for four weeks. You could consult with a Kentucky attorney who handles defamation cases. You should keep in mind that in terms of legal fees, attorneys who generally handle such cases don't necessarily handle them as a contingency case the way they would with a car accident case. That means you could owe attorney fees, win-or-lose. You could ask the attorney if the case you're contemplating is viable, cost-effective, and worth pursuing, in terms of your evidence, what you stand to gain in terms of damages, and its risks.
