Q: In KY. Child support was set up for my youngest. Found out that the amount was set up only looking at 40 hrs a week,
despite the court being informed that the father is guaranteed at least 56 hours a week and has been working that schedule for years. He also has another job at a local business, where he is paid cash. I’ve requested a review of the child support case but the local office says the difference isn’t enough to go back to court. By my calculations it is. How can I prove his cash job? And what can I do to get it raised.
A: Hire a private investigator to establish his cash job, then move for an increase.
