Q: I want to see if I can sue for invasion of privacy
I went to the store to use my Marlboro mobile coupon and you have to scan it I went to do it the cashier took my phone out of my hand and after he scan it he pressed someone on my phone and exited out of the app which I did not give him permission to take my phone from me and use it and press any thing on my phone or exit out of my app
You can sue. Anyone can sue. Whether there is a meritorious suit is a different issue.
I doubt any lawyer would take it.
And you really have no damages
