Q: I found a puppy from Virginia on puppy find.com. I gave them 100 deposit and paid for the travel expenses (see below)
For the breeder to have the pup delivered to Ky. We met in Walton Ky, they gave me the pup and i paid the remaining balance in cash. I now found out the pup has a liver shunt. They want the pup back and will give me a replacement pup..I want to keep the pup and give it the necessary surgery she needs. I am requesting she refund the money I paid for the puppy. Breeder not agreeing to that, they say no refunds....I need advice on what to do and if small claims come into it, can it be in Ky?
A: All depends on what the breeding contract says. It should specify the answers to the questions you have posed.
