Q: Can I get this traffic ticket dismissed?
I am from New Jersey and this was the first time I’ve ever been pulled over and the first time I’ve ever gotten a citation. I received a failure to inspect ticket for an expired inspection sticker (39:8-1) while driving someone else’s car. The owner of the car has not gotten it inspected since, despite my asking. But The officer did not provide any vehicle information on the ticket. Is it possible to have this thrown out? If so, what sort of proof would I need to bring other then the ticket? Thank you in advance!
A: You can get the ticket thrown out if you provide a defense what you have said does not amount to a good defense, but you can try.
