Yes, but it MIGHT be justified as self-defense if you did not threaten or provoke the person, and the person was not acting to protect a third party, and you did not unlawfully interfere with the person's property, and the incident happened in a place where you were legally entitled to be, and you were not otherwise engaged in criminal activity.
