Q: Would I get booked in if I show up to court ?

Ok so I got arrested on a d.v charge pleaded guilty and was released with an order to attend classes and a couple of things.. I went to my first court day once release to show proof I enrolled into class but haven't gone to the class nor did I show up to my second court day so a warrant was put out for my arrest I then got arrested in a different county for different charges second county contacted the first courty that had a warrant for my arrest to see if I was gonna get picked up but them and they went ahead and just gave me a different court day and I then still didn't show up to the second court date and now there a warrant for my arrest once again what should I do??

A: You should retain an attorney or contact the attorney who represented you at the time of your plea. Judges are very strict on DV classes and you have already gotten an extension, so the Judge can violate your probation and sentence you to jail, community labor or prison if it was a Felony.

If you can't afford a private attorney or had the Public Defender at the time of your plea, go to their office in the Courtroom to put your case on Calendar and get the warrant recalled. Next time you get picked up they may keep you in custody next time!
