Q: Can the non custodial parent get in trouble for not following court orders?
During a child support hearing (Ncp and I we’re never married), the visitation was court ordered to a center with supervised visitation. Ncp was ordered to pay intake fees and hourly. He refused to pay the center to see his daughter. Can he get in trouble for choosing not follow the court ordered visitation? If he decided he just wouldn’t see his child would the courts accept his choice not to do so?
A: It does not appear from your question that you have a duty to surrender your child for supervised visits if the fees are not paid. Good luck.
