Q: If a minor pays for an animal (Ex. A new kitten) with their own money can their parent legally give the pet away?
So I'm a teenager and I want to adopt a kitten but I want to make sure my parent can't legally just give my cat away without my permission simply because they don't like the cat, even though it will belong to me.
