Q: If a person falls on a buisness property, is it the buisnesses responsibility to cover the costs? Medical etc.
My mother fell at walmart, the video is very poor quality, she got hurt, and they say the wheel was never on the cart tto begin with. That to me is worse than if the wheel fell off because an employee didnt inspect the cart, and put it where a customers safety was at risk( where all the carts are placed). It doesnt even matter. She fell on their property, arent they responsible for her medical and pain and suffering?
A: I'm sorry your mother was injured. They could possibly be responsible to cover the costs. The fact that she fell on their property does not make them automatically liable. You are thinking in terms of a strict liability case. In this type of accident, your mother needs to demonstrate negligence on the part of the property interests. If she is contemplating a claim, she should contact a Nevada attorney who handles personal injury cases without delay. Most attorneys in this field offer free initial consults. Good luck
