Littleton, CO asked in Traffic Tickets for Colorado

Q: I live in Colorado and am attempting to resolve outstanding NJ traffic tickets. Can you help, or must I be present?

These tickets are 6-8 years old and all of a non-moving violation nature.

A: Because the traffic tickets are out of New Jersey, you need to contact an attorney who practices in New Jersey, specifically in the jurisdiction where the tickets where issued. They will be familiar with the applicable court practice and procedure for taking care of old unresolved tickets. They should also be able to tell you whether you will need to return to New Jersey to deal with the tickets.

Good luck!

A: You could have your appearance waive for certain circumstances.

Reach out to a NJ attorney so that they could help resolve this matter for you.

A: HI

It depends if there is an outstanding warrant in your name for the unpaid tickets, are they in the same municipal court. This can be easily researched and I can give you a free consultation on how to proceed.
