A: A Texas attorney could offer the best answer here, but your post remains open for two weeks. And it sounds like it would be better for something to be done sooner than later. Maybe the more pressing issue with a lender could be mortgage payments. If you want to help this person, you could alert their family members to the situation - and you could mention to them that they could contact a Texas elder law attorney for guidance.
