Dallas, TX asked in Traffic Tickets for Texas

Q: 3rd speeding ticket within a year in Texas. What’s going to happen if the 3rd one happened within probation of 2nd One

My bf got his 3rd speeding ticket in Texas. The first one was in April which got deferred along with taking the drivers safety course. The second one was around November which he was able to get deferred as long as he completed the 6 month probation. He just got another one this end of February. What’s going to happen or what can he do to avoid getting it on his record. How does this affect his second ticket since he got the 3rd one during probation. He hasn’t contacted the court for the 3rd one.

A: Your boyfriend MAY get his license suspended. The new citation violates the terms of his deferred probation. Call an attorney in your area. Good luck.
