Q: Got caught speeding 50 in a 25.
Should I just plead guilty? I'm so scared. I've never been in this much trouble before.
A: Luckily 25 mph over the limit is still a petty offense (non-criminal), while 26+ mph is a misdemeanor. You may be eligible for court supervision to keep this offense off of your record. Depending on your age, it may require completion of traffic school.

A: 25 over to posted speed limit is considered a petty offense. Go to court and request Court Supervision.
