Q: Do I have any grounds to seek legal action?
August 30th, while unconscious from Epilepsy medication, traveling Chicago to St.Paul on a Megabus, I was sexually assaulted by the passenger seated next to me. When I awoke to what was happening to me, I alerted the bus driver who I was seated directly behind. he did not respond or make any attempts to stop the bus or call police. When in St.Paul, i asked for the drivers name, he responded with, "sorry that this happened". I attempted to contact Megabus customer service to report, and was hung up on twice. I was directed to an email and only received a general response stating they would investigate and reply in 7-10 days. Two weeks went by I sent daily emails with no word from them. I made several attempts to contact law enforcement agencies and attorneys, none of which could assist me at the time due to having no information to provide of the offender or megabus.
