Lewistown, PA asked in Traffic Tickets for Pennsylvania

Q: I live in Pennsylvania. Is there a statute of limitations on traffic citations correlating with expired inspections?

I received four citations on Wednesday. Two citations correcting with expired inspection, 1 citation for no proof on insurance, 1 citation for insurance being cancelled due to the expired inspection. I was told I have to 10 days to go to the magistrates office to take care of the citations either buy paying for them or putting them on payment plan. On the following Tuesday 6 days later, I went up to the magistrates office to take care of the citations but the police officer had not turned in the citations. They asked me to call back the following Friday. When I called back that Friday, The Police Officer still had not turned in the citations. How long does the Police Officer have to turn in the citations?
