Asked in Animal / Dog Law for Kentucky

Q: Why is nothing being done about my neglectful neighbors? I work 7 day a week, I NEED sleep & peace at my own home!

We've called everyone from the county attorney, judges, county police, state police, CPS, EPA (they poop in a bucket & dump it behind their house), everyone possible on my neighbors. They live in a house with no water, plumbing, septic, electricity, anything & have 3 kids, 4 dogs & 3-4 cats and my county refuses to help the kids or animals. I live in the county where they say we have "no zoning laws", my neighbors dog barks 24/7 LITERALLY & the neighbor does nothing, as a matter of fact he aggs it on & yells, cusses, gives the finger to me &my family when we holler at the dogs to shut up! The cats are hardly fed & left outside in a chicken coop. They leave for 1.5-2 WEEKS at a time leaving the animals with no food or water. Neither of them have jobs, not sure how they are even alive other the mooching off people.

Why & How can nothing be done about these people when the dads a felon with a gun & the mom has a warrant out for her. (Yes the police know)

A: Go to the courthouse and file your own criminal complaint for nuisance and harassment. That will get you into court.
