Yukon, OK asked in Family Law for Oklahoma

Q: Father has Asburgers&abandoned us a month ago(our 15month old&me@7months preg with his son) Can I Terminate his rights

Hes been gone a month&shown no interest in coming see her but I made him visit 2x for a few hours. He is mentally unstable, quit his job of 5years&moved in w/his wheelchair bound grandma 2hours away. He has neglected our daughter before, every time I have left her in his care. Recently she got a severe diaper rash, turned infection after being in his care while I was sick&that was the last time she has been alone with him. He claims it's unintentional neglect&Blames asburgers for his forgetfulness, his outbursts&inability to make decisions. I begged him to stay&co-parent. He refused&states he only wants to spend time with her if he's alone with her/I'm not there&wants to take her out of town for days. He is delusional&for my child's safety, I won't allow that. I want him in her life but he refuses to work w/me&he's completely unable to provide adequate care for her by himself or with family(his mom has Asburgers) I have all proof of Abandonment&Mental Illness causing repeated neglect

A: There are only two ways to terminate parental rights in Oklahoma.

1) the child is adopted or 2) the state can terminate rights in a deprived child case.
