Fort Lauderdale, FL asked in Banking, Business Law and Civil Litigation for Florida

Q: Bank provides multiple incorrect account numbers resulting in no income for two weeks and $100 in wasted stationary.

I opened a business checking account and was provided with an account number over the phone. I gave this to my credit card processor. I later found out this account number was one digit two short. My CC processor asked for a letter from the bank to unfreeze my bank account. They provided that letter with my account number on paper. This time it was one digit too long. I had to loan $11k to support the business while I was unable to access my incoming money and I had ordered $100 of custom checks that are now wrong. The bank has accepted liability but will not compensate. What are my rights?
