A: There are several things you can do, but I would recommend consulting with a local experienced family law attorney first. An attorney can help you file for divorce, get child support started, etc.

A: You should consider consulting with a family law attorney. From what you have described above, you likely have grounds for divorce based on inappropriate marital conduct or something similar. You could use irreconcilable differences as the fall back no-fault ground. If your Wife is intending to abandon the children then you should be able to get a parenting plan entered that reflects you as the parent 365 days per year and would require her to pay you child support. You could have support payments start after filing the divorce before it is finalized if you are successful in a pendente lite hearing. Once the divorce is final there will be a permanent parenting plan entered that will govern who has the children when and the payment of child support. Good luck!
