Bowling Green, KY asked in Criminal Law and Domestic Violence for Kentucky

Q: Will this epo from my ex turn into an dvo or charge? She trying to get me in trouble because she thinks I called cps.

My ex & I have been dating for 5 years. We always break up then get back together nothing new. While being apart a baby was created. I accepted the baby & was there 100%. She’s a great mother it’s just that HE likes for her t do drugs. It was and argument on Face book between me and the baby’s dad. I stated all Kinds of reasons on why she shouldn’t be around him. He had called me bragging about being in a hotel high etc. I did put multiple things on Facebook not even thinking about the wrong person seeing it. She goes back and forth lying to both of is & plays both sides but spends 90% her time at my house. I guess he was hounding her about the baby. She had him thinking I was keeping her away from him when in reality she was just using me to get back at him. We did the usual.I stopped worrying about it, her cousin’s boyfriend sped up behind me and traffic & cut me off almost making me wreck. I went to his GF’s house to let her know. He hopped out yelling. I left. 2hrs later EPO. more.

A: It could adversely affect you both ways. You should hire an experienced attorney to guide you through this to avoid a dvo and criminal charge.
