Atlanta, GA asked in Criminal Law, Civil Rights, Constitutional Law and Health Care Law for Texas

Q: I have a couple questions

1. I live with my boyfriend who has 2 adult daughters they do not live at home. The other night after being told not to come over they both barged in the house to come over “talk” to me . Haha they come to stir up problems. I told them to leave I wasn’t talking to them I went to bedroom shut door and she come in it unwanted telling me to get out of her house it belonged to her. It doesn’t she thinks she’s entitled. I called the law the law made her leave. Is there any type of charge I can file on her? Question number 2. They ( the daughters) keep coming over although there is a stay at home order. The dad won’t say anything to them. I feel they are compromising my life by coming over instead of staying at home. Anything I can do about that?

A: This question is marked as both Georgia and Texas. The exact rules that apply will depend on the location of the house. If the house is in Texas, you can't legally exclude them from the house if they are invited by their father... but you could leave him and move somewhere on your own... and then exclude them from your new place. If the house is in Georgia then re-post the question and remove any mention of Texas.
