Q: We signed a contract to build a house& want to terminate due to water
We signed a contract to build a house. Upon framing, our builder told us that the lot is above an underground spring. We are not comfortable with this as we had water issues with our last house that we had to pay to fix when we moved. Would we be able to get our wear best money back since this wasn’t disclosed to us until after we started building?
A: Possibly, if the seller knew about the underground spring and failed to disclose.
