Q: Am I still on probation if county court RESENTENCED me to IDOC time SERVED, PAROLED and COMPLETED it???
I was originally sentenced to 30 months probation, transferred Woodford County to McLean County, then Woodford REVOKED my probation and RESENTENCED me. It seems to me I would be being sentenced TWICE for the same crime. (UNCONTITUTIONALLY). After RESENTENCING, the original sentence ( probation ) would become NULL and VOID. BOTH COUNTY CLERKS have responded that I am still on PROBATION...WHICH WAS VIOLATED.
